I love Palm Springs! We take an annual trip to Palm Springs for spring break with our kids (now 2 and 6). We go primarily because it is a quick direct flight to blue sky and a welcome escape from the dark winters here in Seattle. Palm Springs has now become one of our favorite spots to celebrate spring.

Palm Springs house rentals

One of our favorite things to do in Palm Springs is to rent a house with a pool. It is the optimal arrangement for families with young children. Yes, you have to be super vigilant about watching the younger ones around the pool, but having a spot to put them down for a nap close by (while you catch some sun outside by the pool) is priceless and a sure bet for a relaxing vacation for all. Sharing a house with another family can also be a great way to make it even more fun for kids and parents. Imagine barbecuing every night by the pool in the warm air as the kids splash in the pool or run around on the grass!

Just for Mom

There is no shortage of shopping and spa options for mom in Palm Springs. One of my favorite boutiques for mom and little ones is She She in Palm Desert and don’t forget the HUGE Desert Hills Premium Outlets –you will need an entire day to see it all.

Good luck in your planning!
