When we couldn't get in, we went down the street to Patsy's Pizza and enjoyed the coal-oven pies. Across the street is Dylan's Candy Bar. Also, Ellen's Stardust Diner is great, but the acoustics and small space make it pretty loud. Our 4-year old didn't like the noise, so we had to leave. We ended up at the world's largest Applebee's around the corner, and that was just fine for us. Definitely make reservations for Serendipity 3.
