A | Toddler friendly activities in Munich
When we visited Munich, Germany with our two-year-old and four-year-old, we found the city to be full of toddler-friendly things to do. The bright colors of the farmers markets and Christmas markets (if you are there during the holidays), will keep your toddler wandering up and down the market aisles. The Hofbrauhaus, one of Munich’s oldest breweries, is a good stop for both parent and child. Enjoy a cold beverage and listen to music while your toddler munches on pretzels and juice. Visit the Marienplatz and listen to the Glockenspiel. The Tierpark Hellabrunn, the Munich Zoo Hellabrunn, is an inexpensive activity that will entertain for hours. Admission is free for children under four! You can visit with the animals, feed the goats and deer, and play on the playground. When all else fails, we do one of two things: we look for one of the numerous playgrounds that can be found throughout the city, or go for a ride on the U-Bahn trains!
